Co-op Work Permits
Some post-secondary designated learning institutions include work experience as part of their study program/curriculum. In order to qualify for a co-op or intern work permit, you will need the following:
- A valid study permit
- The work you are wanting to do is required in order to complete your study program in Canada
- You have a letter from you designated learning institution (DLI) confirming that the work is a mandatory part of you achieving your degree, and
- The co-op placement or internship equals less than 50% or less of your study program
