Entry Into Canada Refusals
Reasons for which an applicant may not be approved to enter Canada
It is important that your application to enter Canada is properly completed. There are several different reasons for which an application may be denied or rejected. Some may be remedied more easily than others.
Whether you are seeking the approval of a Temporary Resident Visa (TRP), Study Visa, Visitor Visa, Work Permit, Canadian Experience Class Visa, Business Class Visa, Provincial Nominee Visa, Parent/Grand-Parent Visa, or any other visa, it is critical that you provide correct and accurate information.

What happens if I inadvertently omit necessary information on an application or if I don’t complete the application as required?
A number of consequences can result from an incomplete immigration/visa application. For instance, did you know that if an applicant fails to list a family member on an application the applicant could be deemed to be misrepresenting their circumstances? Other examples of misrepresentation are failure to declare that the individual(s) has been refused a visa for another country, providing a non-genuine document(s), withholding material facts, being sponsored by an individual who has been found to be inadmissible or declaring incorrect employment information are all examples of how an individual can place themselves at risk of being issued an Exclusion Order based on misrepresentation. If such an order is issued to an individual, that person is banned from entering Canada for 5 years. Don’t take the risk. What happens if my application is rejected and deemed to be a misrepresentation of my circumstances?
If an application is rejected based on ‘misrepresentation’, not only is the application to enter Canada denied, but a Deportation Order would be issued, instructing the individual to leave Canada. This individual would then be banned from ever entering Canada again. Avoid this situation by seeking out proper legal council at the onset of your application.
