How do I report suspicious activity that I suspect might be immigration fraud?
If you received threats from someone pretending to be an immigration officer threatening to arrest, deport, assault or kidnap you, IT IS A SCAM. Canadian immigration officials are professional government representatives and they would never act in such a manner.
If you are suspicious of someone contacting you may be acting fraudulently, you may contact the Canadian federal government Call Centre to confirm the agent’s identity.
