IEC (International Experience Class)

International Experience Class Work Permits

The International Experience Canada (IEC) is a program designed to allow 18–35-year-old foreign nationals from about 33 selected countries the opportunity to work in Canada based on a country to country agreement. You can work in many different areas depending on what industries are hiring. Some industries may require short-term employees only. You can apply more than once depending on the agreement between Canada and your country of citizenship.

Currently due to COVID-19 restrictions, only IEC participants with a Port of Entry Letter of Introduction and a valid job offer are eligible to travel to Canada. You can resume work as soon as you complete your quarantine.

Contact SAM LAW if you need help working in Canada through the IEC program.
