Refugee Appeal Division
Canada’s Refugee Appeal Division (RAD) was launched on December 15, 2012. Its tasks include, the review and consideration of appeals against decisions made by the Refugee Protection Division (RPD). This is the department that will either accept or reject claims for refugee protection.
If you do not agree with a negative decision made on your refugee claim and want to file an appeal, the appeal is filed with the Refugee Appeal Division (RAD).
